ChairBrenda Rivers is a native New Yorker who now lives and works in Virginia with the Federal Government Department of the Treasury since 1991. Prior to working for the Government she worked for nine (9) years with a major international bank on New York's famed 5th Avenue as a Financial and Credit Analyst. During her 17 plus years with the Government, Brenda started out as a Customer Service Representative with the Internal Revenue Service where she worked in the Walk-in division for 5 years after which she was promoted to Revenue Agent in the Exempt Organizations Division where she is currently a Senior Level Revenue Agent. Read more ...Brenda lives in Richmond, VA with her husband Michael Rivers of 12+ years and her two children from a previous marriage, Chenay Ivery and Marquis Ivery, along with their family pet, a cat named Stinky. When not working, Brenda loves to read. Her main literary interests are books on Spirituality and Finance or Investing.
Co- founderJeannette Cordor is a philanthropic entrepreneur and business woman. Mrs. Cordor is the Co-founder, along with her husband, chief executive officer, and Chief Executive of The Faces HOPE, America's first non-profit that provides in-home fitness and nutrition education to the entire family. The organization is based in Richmond, VA Chesterfield County. Jeannette is lean, intense, focused, and completely positive in her belief in the potential of educating people to own their journey, their health, their life and make it their choice to live a healthy life. Read more ...Born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Jeannette saw firsthand how the lack of health education can affect a family. Mrs. Cordor is a Public Health Educator. A graduate from the Center for women and Enterprise Business program and Out-reach training institute in Massachusetts. Jeannette was born July 4, and resides with her amazing husband Jeramin Cordor in Richmond, VA. She is a mother of several outstanding children. Her hobbies are solving medical mysteries, photography, scrap-booking, and developing art with images.
SecretaryJean Bracey graduated Cum Laude in 1983 from Virginia State University where she earned her bachelor's degree. Ms. Bracey is a Virginia native from Amelia, Virginia. She has been a resident of Chesterfield County since 1979 where she resides with her husband of 21 years, Robert and two sons, Quin, 15 and Scott, 10. Read more ...Ms. Bracey brings with her great experience having worked the past 14 years as an outreach worker in the health care industry at Southern Health. Previous to her outreach work, Ms. Bracey worked for 12 years in the management sector as a purchasing agent and at various levels of management.

Interim-treasureTheresa Do is the Hospital Coordinator for Commonwealth Oral and Facial Surgery where she works full time while attending school at the Medical College of Virginia. She will be joining RBHA as a research assistant in the coming months. She is also a volunteer with the Medical Reserve Corps. Ms. Do is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in pre-medicine. Read more ...
She is a currently finishing up her Master's Degree in Public Health at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. She has extensive experience in several fields including public health, marketing campaigns and design. Ms. Do has various interests in public health including public health policy, community outreach, epidemiology and infectious disease. When not in school or working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Board memberConsuelo Staton is the Administrative Coordinator for the Daughters of Zelophehad office. Ms. Staton received her Masters in Industrial Counseling (Organizational Development) from Northeastern University, Boston. MA and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Ms. Staton assists the executive director, board of directors, and part-time staff with administrative and operations systems support. Ms. Staton has an extensive human resource management background and expertise in implementing innovative training/educational programs. Read more ...
She has worked in higher education, law, non-profit, corporations, and local city and state governments. She is certified trainer for the Strengthening Families Program and is a certified MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory administrator. Consuelo is the proud mother of a 15 year old young lady, Morgan.
Board memberChristina Smoot works for Bon Secours Health System of Richmond as a Marketing Coordinator. Since 1999 she has worked for physician organizations, hospitals, managed care and the managed Medicaid population. In her current role, she markets imaging services to various specialty and primary care physicians in the Richmond area. She has a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration from Mary Baldwin College. Christina lives in Glen Allen, VA with her husband, Adam. |
